How Fermentation Station works
Grown on a local community farm. Fermented in small batches at The Crea in downtown Shelbyville. Sold locally, with bulk lots made to order.
1. Grown on a local community farm
The cabbage, cucumbers, peppers, ginger, garlic, and soybeans behind every jar and bottle come from a local community farm. We name the farm on the label and at the counter, and we buy the harvest close to home.
2. Made at The Crea
We ferment, bottle, and pack at our downtown location, The Crea, 601 Main St, Shelbyville, KY 40065. Small batches, real salt, and time — no shortcuts.
3. Jars, bottles, and bulk lots
Retail jars and bottles are stocked for pickup. Bulk lots of 25, 50, and 100 lb are made to order; lead times run from one week for tempeh to six months for miso. See bulk prices and lead times.
4. Pickup or local dropoff
